Making The Change To Safer Healthier Cleaning

If you have been reading our blog, you will have noticed that we talk quite a bit about green cleaning: less toxic alternatives to the standard chemicals used in cleaning. The importance of using less toxic chemicals is a growing concern in the US and around the world. Many companies now offer non-toxic alternative products while others promote the use of simple natural mixes for cleaning and saving money.

As a part of our commitment to providing the best possible cleaning services, we are moving to safer, less toxic cleaning products.

This month we began the process of transforming our cleaning service into a green cleaning service. We began doing trials by exchanging some of the chemicals we have been using for cleaning to less toxic natural alternatives. We started with one cleaning crew and identified a couple of situations where we could use a green alternative to our standard cleaning products. This process will go on until we have determined the best application of safer products in our cleaning process.

Our top priority is to provide the best cleaning service available. This means that we use the most effective cleaning products always. Only when a new green cleaning solution proves that it can do the job with the same effectiveness or better than the standard product, will we finalize the change. We do not want comprise our mission by using less effective products. With that said, we firmly believe that we can make the change to green cleaning and reduce the chemical footprint in the home.
