Allergic To Cleaning Products
Allergies are usually associated with pollen and spring and being in the outdoors. But people can be allergic to anything in the environment and many foods. Indoor allergies are a problem for many people also. There are common causes for indoor allergies and also some not so common allergy causes.
Regular Cleaning Is First Step
Most of the time, the allergens in the home are either mold, pet dander, or dust mites. When you clean your home on regular basis, you are actually working to remove some of the common causes of allergies. The best way to mitigate these common sources of allergies is to regularly clean the home and use a vacuum with a HEPA filter.
Some people are allergic to strong cleaning products chlorine bleach. Exposure over time to certain cleaning agents, such as ammonia and chlorine bleach can lead to allergic reactions. An allergic reaction is essentially just your body overreacting to a substance in the environment. Regular exposure to harsh cleaning products can develop into a problem, or can exasperate an existing condition.
Use Natural Cleaning Products
For people with persistent allergies, using natural cleaning products can improve the situation and relieve some of the problems. Some allergy problems can be hard to discover. I have known people who have had to go through a period of trial and error in trying to find the cause of the allergy. That entailed removing an item from the home and diet and then seeing if there was a change. It was a long and tedious effort.
Some of our clients have allergies and we have always worked with them to modify our cleaning system and the products that we use to accommodate the client. Our move to natural cleaning mixes for different cleaning tasks will help even more.
Reduce The Toxic Load
The bottom line is that we are faced with pollution everywhere we go. From grime in the air, to chemical residue in drinking water, toxins are everywhere. Taking little steps to reduce to toxic load brings about little improvements in the quality of our lives. This is the main reason we are moving to using healthier cleaning products in our cleaning service.
